Valery Suleimanov (University of Tuebingen, Germany) Progress in atmospheres of X-ray bursting stars modeling A new computer code for hot neutron star atmospheres modeling and computed extended set of model atmospherses for various luminosities, surface gravities and chemical compositions are presented. In the new code Compton scattering is taken into account with accurate fully relativistic angle-dependent redistribution function. The computed models are compared with previously obtained models which employ Kompaneets operator. A usage of new models for neutron star parameters deriving from the cooling stages of X-ray bursts is discussed.
